Tell us about your journey to real estate:
I was a flight attendant for 17 years and held a couple of outside sales positions when one of my best friends was hired as the Team Leader of Keller Williams. She said I would be perfect for the Market Center Administrator’s position and hired me. I was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer for an up and coming Market Center. I was in charge of the daily running of the office, the finances (the agents loved me – I paid them!), and the keeper of the files – you name it, I did it! My favorite part of the job was helping agents get through their transactions smoothly – I did whatever I could to make the office a place where they could get what the needed – a hug or even a kick in the pants! After 7 years I felt I needed a change, got my licenses and joined my husband who is a Realtor! I am licensed in Delaware Maryland and Pennsylvania – I love helping people turn their dreams into an address!
What excites you about your work?
Watching client"s eyes light up when they walk into a house – you know they are “home”!
Where can we find you when you are not working?
Usually most evenings are spent on my front lawn! After work all my neighbors and I sit out front with a beverage and let the kids play until its time for dinner or bed – it’s a great way to catch up!
What is your favorite room in the house?
The kitchen – everyone who visits ends up in my kitchen – I love to cook and sharing food with family, friends, and clients is the best way to get to know one another!
What do you love to do in your spare time?
I love to read – like really read – like 1 or 2 books a week! And I sew – clothing, quilts – my friends always are asking me to whip up something.
